Quebec Experience Class (PEQ)

Quebec Experience Class (Programme de l’expérience Québécoise) or widely known as PEQ  - A fast-track program to get a Canadian permanent resident status.

2 pathways to be eligible for this fast-track program:

Pathway 1 - As a foreign student in Quebec

Pathway 2 - As a foreign worker in Quebec

 
Pathway 1

Foreign students must meet the following requirements:

• Must have completed a post-secondary education in Quebec for at least 1,800 hours (approximately 2 years) in within the past 3 years;

• The educational institution must be recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education; and

• The student must have an advanced intermediate level French. If the studies of the student was not completed in French, he or her must prove their French ability through a standardized language test recognized by the Quebec government or have completed a French course recognized by the Quebec educational institution. Pathway 2

Foreign workers must meet the following requirements:

• Must have work experience in Quebec for 12 months or more in a skilled job, a managerial or professional occupation in the 2 years or 24 months prior to submitting the application;

• Must be legally employed in Quebec throughout the time of his o her application; and

• The worker must have an advanced intermediate level French. If the previous studies of the worker was not completed in French, he or her must prove their French ability through a standardized language test recognized by the Quebec government or have completed a French course recognised by the Quebec educational institution at a B2 level.
