Situated on 140 sections of land in Charlottetown, the origin of Confederation, the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) has a rich history with roots in two establishing foundations, Prince of Wales College (est. 1834) and St. Dunstans University (est. 1855). Games offices have increased significantly over the previous decade including the addition of the new UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place Olympic style events office, the Chi-Wan Young Sports Center, a lit, engineered surface games field, and the group based Bell Aliant Center that components focused and recreation pools and two NHL-sized ice rinks (MacLauchlan Arena). The grounds likewise house the National Research Councils Institute for NutriSciences and Health at the Regis and Joan Duffy Research Center. 

With over $5.6 million in grants, universal trade and study openings, a dynamic Student Union, extending graduate projects and remarkable understudy workforce association, UPEI offers its students an interesting grounds involvement.
